Axe throwing has been taking the nation by storm over the past few years, but you’d be hard pressed to find the adrenaline pumping activity without traveling to the popular spots in Brooklyn, NY – until now. Spins Bowl, with three Hudson Valley locations has been known for delivering its state-of-the -art bowling, massive redemption arcades, and laser tag game experience, has now launched a different kind of lane, Axe Throwing! Spins Bowl Poughkeepsie will open their first set this week with Carmel and Wappingers locations slated to be in “full swing” in the next several weeks.

Spins Bowl nails the rustic design you’d expect to see; much like where the sport originated, but you don’t have to be a lumberjack to play! They provide a safe and controlled environment without compromising the excitement and adrenaline of your first throw. Participants can turn it into a game and play competitively against friends and co workers or simply play to improve their own score by getting as close to the bullseye. Each lane holds up to six axe throwers and offers 30 minute sessions for $12 per person, 60-minute sessions at $22per person, or $110 per hour for a private lane.
